I am delighted to have the opportunity to write these few words as sleeve notes for this CD.

I have known Fergal for a number of years and I first met him in Tenerife at “The Hole In The Wall” where he performs for most of the year.

Immediately it was clear to me that he was born to entertain. Every so often during his live show where he sings well known songs we all know and love he would slip in a new song guiltily saying “this one I wrote myself”. So I realised that he had a great talent for song writing also.

This album highlights both his ability to write and sing. Whether like me you have enjoyed Fergal’s talents for many years or if you are a new fan, I Know you will enjoy this CD.
